Volt Tech 2-brush generator is 12 volt type, with gear kit included.

Features a close interference fit, tool should be used to install gear.

Gear should not slide on loosely.

Pressing on the gear may force the solenoid out of the back.

Generator fits 1936-1969 FLH including Flathead models.

*~*~ Tech Note: On pre-1958 models case must be drilled to accept 5/16" mount bolts.

*~*~ On 45" Flathead models, Generator Strap may need to be removed and cases sanded down to accept larger Generator.
